About
An India-first ESG platform, built by operators
ESGOne is a capstone venture from Team 9 of the ISB Executive Post-Graduate programme. We set out to solve a problem we saw first-hand: credible ESG reporting in Indian pharma still runs on manual spreadsheets — assembled once a year, with inconsistent definitions and no audit trail.
Our working prototype demonstrates a BRSR-aligned dashboard on an illustrative company, MediCorp Pharma, using Dr. Reddy's Laboratories' public BRSR FY2023-24 as the real sample-data source, benchmarked against Sun Pharma, Cipla, Lupin and Biocon. It covers 17 pharma-relevant metrics across Environmental, Social and Governance, shown in three role-based views (Executive, Environmental deep-dive, Regulatory/Audit) plus a validated data-entry layer. We deliberately chose a lightweight web build over heavy BI tooling to keep it fast and shareable.
Our thesis is focus: win the pharma / API / CDMO wedge with depth other platforms don't have, then extend the same data layer to adjacent regulated industries.
